that's an egg-cellent idea!

my homework assignment is to come up with a project using used/recycled material from home to create a lesson/project for the students...

I have a large bag full of empty Easter eggs that my students donated. What do I do with them???

students can practice skills, in this case... the AT word family.
once the students recognize the pattern... they'll have SO much fun with this! :)
Example: Pat, Mat, That, Rat, Cat, Fat, Bat, Spat

In the beginning of the school year, the students are introduced to all the alphabets. some are confused with upper and lower case... this could be a great tool to use to monitor and assess students.

you can take the plastic eggs apart and play a game with the students who are struggling! :)
you can use high frequency words, word families, alphabets, numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.

oh the possibilities are endless!
try this at home/school it'll be an egg-cellent idea!
